Tier 1 Technical Support 

Chichester, NH

Position Overview:

US Housing Consultants is seeking an individual for a full-time, in-office position, providing Tier 1 support for a software application with approximately 200 customers, and basic desktop support for an office of 20 persons and 20 off-site and remote office employees. 

This position would involve providing basic support for a mobile software company, InspectCheck. This software is used for conducing inspections on multifamily housing properties. Support will involve assisting customers in setting up properties, performing password resets, adjusting the templates for their properties, and Maintaining CRM database of client support requests.

The candidate must be proficient in the use of modern office software products, such as Salesforce, Zoho, Microsoft Office Suite,  and PC/MAC environments. Experience supporting customers with issues related to hardware, to include notebooks, printers, monitors, smartphones is a plus. Individual must exhibit attitude and aptitude for the position.

Essential Functions

The candidate shall perform the following tasks:

  • Serve as primary Help Desk phone person
  • Handles tier 1 calls to include:
    • Password resets
    • Microsoft Office support
    • Mobile device support
    • Desktop support for PC and MAC
  • Enter equipment transfers and track firewall security updates for workstations
  • Perform physical work such as, stocking and delivering equipment
  • Support virtual meetings
  • Submits tickets in Help Desk system

Technical Skills Desired

  • Microsoft Office 2016
  • Windows 10, Mac OS
  • Experience providing Help Desk support
  • Hardware support experience (servers, notebooks, printers, etc.)
  • Networking support experience

Accounting Manager

Position Overview

The accounting manager is responsible for managing the accounting department. This role also serves as a consultant for managers within the organization, advising them of current budgetary information and working with managers to create a fiscal strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization.

Essential Functions

  1. Responsible for supervising the accounting procedures of the company. 
  2. Audit the work of the accounting department. 
  3. Engage in critical and confidential aspects of accounting. 
  4. Responsible for the development of policies, systems, special financial studies, etc. of major importance. 
  5. Advise management on matters of fiscal procedure and importance for the organization.
  6. Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization
  7. Works with confidential data, which, if disclosed, might have significant internal effect or minor external effect.

Supervisory Responsibility

The accounting manager manages all employees of the accounting department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.  

Physical Demands

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
