ACE Rural Development Compliance (with Optional ACE Exam): Nov 17-19th

November 17 @ 11:00 am - November 19 @ 5:00 pm EST
11.17 - 11.19 ACE RD Compliance Webinar

Learn USDA RD eligibility rules, including income, assets, adjusted income, and student eligibility to ensure compliance.

ACE RURAL DEVELOPMENT COMPLIANCE

Our USDA Rural Development (RD) training provides essential guidance to help owners and agents stay compliant with evolving regulations. RD programs support vulnerable rural families, and maintaining compliance is critical to protect properties, funding, and the residents who rely on their apartments for their homes.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THIS TRAINING

Our training provides a clear, practical review of USDA Rural Development regulations, using real-world examples and hands-on exercises to ensure a strong understanding of both how to maintain compliance and why it matters. Our trainer will guide attendees through the steps of determining eligibility—from processing applications and evaluating student status to calculating income, assets, and recertification requirements.

This workshop is fully updated with current RD regulations and focuses on the most critical elements of the 3560 Handbook, including, but not limited to:

  • Verifying and calculating income, assets, and adjusted income
  • Tenant recertification and changes in eligibility
  • Waiting lists, tenant selection, and unit assignment
  • Assigning rental assistance
  • Navigating USDA/RD project requirements
RD ACCREDITED COMPLIANCE EXPERT (ACE)

Participants will have the opportunity to take the US Housing Consultants’ RD Accredited Compliance Expert (ACE) Exam. This certification recognizes affordable housing professionals who demonstrate an in-depth understanding of RD compliance — including household eligibility, rent calculations, certificaton, and overall program requirements.

Earning our RD ACE designation demonstrates a strong, verified understanding of RD eligibility rules, income and asset verification, tenant selection, and program requirements. Professionals who hold this credential show they have the understanding to process applications, determine eligibility, complete recertifications, and navigate the 3560 Handbook with confidence.
