CONQUERING HOME COMPLIANCE

Conquering HOME Compliance is designed to help participants navigate the HOME program with clarity and confidence. This course covers the core compliance responsibilities required for successful HOME project administration, including income and rent requirements, tenant file documentation, ongoing monitoring, and reporting. With practical examples and compliance tips throughout, participants will gain the tools needed to support long-term compliance and reduce risk.

Attendees can expect a hands-on training experience focused on real compliance responsibilities. This course will provide:

  • Clear explanations of key HOME program compliance requirements
  • Instruction on determining eligibility, income, and rent compliance

HOME ACCREDITED COMPLIANCE EXPERT (ACE)

Participants will have the opportunity to take the US Housing Consultants’ HOME Accredited Compliance Expert (ACE) Exam. This certification recognizes affordable housing professionals who demonstrate an in-depth understanding of HOME compliance — including household eligibility, rent calculations, certificaton, and overall program requirements.

Earning our HOME ACE designation demonstrates a strong, verified understanding of HOME eligibility rules, income and asset verification, and program requirements. Professionals who hold this credential show they have the understanding to process applications, determine eligibility, complete recertifications, and navigate HOME compliance with confidence.

Note: ACE Exams must be taken within 7 calendar days after being assigned as content, and questions may be updated.

Note: This training will be conducted post-HOTMA and will cover HOTMA requirements only. Pre-HOTMA requirements will not be addressed. Some information may be supplied to attendees as supplemental. This training will include information on the HOME Final Rule.
