UPCS Inspection Analyst

New Hampshire-based consulting firm seeks highly motivated UPCS Inspection Analyst to join our team. This position includes national travel to conduct on-site assessments of commercial multifamily properties, including multifamily housing, senior housing, and various other properties. Knowledge of building systems and components is required, and experience with maintenance on standard components is preferred. This position requires the ability to work from a remote home office (unless located in Concord, NH area) and frequently travel throughout the United States.

Key Competencies:

  • Must be comfortable traveling, including by plane and by car, and navigating new areas
  • Must have the capacity to offer excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of building components and systems
  • Knowledge of the general operations and procedures of a Public Housing Agency (PHA) and of local, state, and federal regulations governing subsidized housing programs is a big plus
  • Construction cost estimating experience a plus
  • Ability to physically navigate sites, building, and dwelling units
  • Ability to travel on short notice and complete assignments on time
  • Current professional licensure preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license required

Compliance Analyst/Auditor 

Croswell, MI Area

We are seeking an Affordable Housing Compliance Analyst to join our growing consulting firm.

We are searching for a person to work with clients to ensure that their properties, located throughout the country, are compliant with various types of affordable housing programs by performing detailed file reviews that are submitted electronically using our secure web server. This is a permanent full-time position and the right candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Detail orientated, analytical and possess accuracy in basic math skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills both oral and written
  • Experience with auditing documentation (financial or otherwise)
  • Computer literate in a network environment and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software services a plus
  • Independent, motivated and resourceful with the ability to multi-task

Preference will be provided for candidates with:

  • Knowledge of HUD (strongly preferred) and LIHTC programs
  • Industry Training on HUD and LITHC Compliance (COS, C3P, etc)

If you are knowledgeable in HUD and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits programs, have experience with auditing financial or regulatory records, are good with numbers and rules and regulations, are analytical and resourceful, a team player who can work well independently when given direction and have good customer relation skills, you may be what we are looking for!
